International Day Against Racism was celebrated in Ballymun with the sounds of African drumming and singing in the local community arts centre 'Axis'. Alongside the African performers was a Russian folk dancer and henna hand painter.
The Priorswood Community Development Project displayed 'Hard Facts', a collection of mosaic slabs which mark the issues facing Travellers in today's society.
The local Ballymun Regional Youth Resource also got involved in the celebrations with an outside display of art work by the young people, as well as food and music from other cultures.
